The Cloche
The Cloche
Initially popular during the 1920s and 1930s, the Cloche has had several restaurant vogues. Cloche hats of fur felt conform to the head and are typically designed to be worn low on the forehead, with the wearer’s eyes only slightly below the brim. Cloche hats are made for all occasions including formal or informal social gatherings.
Characteristics of this hat include a crown of 4” or 5” with a 2” to 3”, slightly angled brim. This hat comes standard with a flattering grosgrain ribbon hat band and matching bound edge (unless otherwise specified).
